It's on Broadway

Took the photo of the Palace Theater sign in Los Angeles then did an image transfer. I hope the theater is on Broadway...

Off to the Dacha

The Catalina photo is an old semi trailer in Long Beach at the Port of LA. The little boat was there too. I found the red tiles at the entry to Cliftons Cafeteria on Broadway.

Freebird

collaboration piece with Kacey

Work is Work

The Yards

Kacey and I have been working on a bunch of collaboration pieces. This is one of those pieces. Kacey started this one, handed it off to me and I finished it. So far it's been a pretty simple method; one of us starts the piece by setting the direction as far as subject, colors, and mediums etc. We set a "swap" date, trade pieces and finish the one the other started.

LA ArtWalk

We had 3-400 hundred show up for the 'Relatively Spacial' show at the LA Artwalk. I had a few pieces exhibited - they were supposed to be on the theme of space and time. The following Tuesday I was invited to come back to the gallery and have a discussion with the other artists about the work and how it relates to the theme of space and time.......or something like that.

WARDROBES

Wardrobes I built for storage and as space dividers for our studio. Mostly, I used my own tools and constructed them in the studio before we moved in - only the CNC milled panels I did at SCI-Arc's shop where my friend, Kris is at school. The panels are an abstracted Manhattan skyline.
